DANVILLE, VA – Behind a late offensive surge, the Danville Otterbots powered past the Bristol
State Liners Friday, 9-4.

  • Jordan Taylor and Corbin Lanowitz kicked off the day for Danville with a pair of RBI doubles in the second inning, putting the Otterbots ahead, 2-0.
  • Then in the sixth, it was Taylor and Lanowitz once again driving in runs for Danville as Taylor tripled to right field to score two runs and Lanowitz singled to score Taylor.
  • Danville tacked on runs in the eighth and ninth frames on RBI groundouts from Santiago Ordonez and Michael Callan Moss.
