The Danville Otterbots and the Greeneville Flyboys played a Sunday seven-inning special at Dan Daniel Memorial Park. The Otterbots came from behind thanks to a walk-off three-run home run from Jackson Tyer to win the ballgame by a score of 5-2. The Otterbots improved their record to 26-15.

The Bots and Flyboys' pitching staffs were both excellent in this game and both offenses were held to under four hits in the ballgame until the Bots got to the bottom of the seventh inning. While there were not a ton of strikeouts from both teams, both pitching staffs had a hand in keeping this a low-scoring affair.

The player of the game goes to Tyer for his walk-off three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning. Tyer was 1-for-4 in the ballgame, but his three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning is definitely enough to give him player of the game.

Other notable mentions of the game, the Otterbots' pitching staff kept Rintaro Sasaki in check this game as he only had one hit in the game, and Ty Parker pitched a great 1 2/3 innings to get the win in the ballgame and make his record 1-1 on the year and his ERA is 3.38.

The Bots will get some much-needed rest as it is the All-Star break here in the Appy League. The Otterbots will be back in action after the All-Star break in Tri-State as they have a four-game series against the Coal Cats. You can watch all the games on Pixellot TV.
