DANVILLE, Va. — The Danville Otterbots welcomed the Pulaski River Turtles back to the American Legion Post 325 field at Dan Daniel Memorial Park for a two-game series as the Otterbots sit just a half-game out of first place.

The Otterbots' pitching staff led the way in a 4-2 victory as the River Turtles struck out twelve times in the ball game. James Guyette got the start for the Ottebrots and was dominant in the two innings he worked. He picked up three strikeouts and only threw seventeen pitches over two innings.

The Danville pitching staff was on fire, minus the eight walks they allowed. The Den only gave up four hits and had the River Turtles in the palm of their hands in this contest.

The Otterbots were led offensively by Carrington Aaron, who went 3-for-4 with two singles and a double. He also had a run batted in and scored off a 105.2 miles per hour off the bat double by Alex Conover in the first inning.

The Otterbots and River Turleted will play Sunday in a seven-inning clash for the series finale. You can watch the game on Pixellot TV or listen to the game on the Otterbot website. The pregame show starts at 4:30 p.m., and the first pitch is at 5:30 p.m.
