The Bristol State Liners have revealed their official roster for the 2025 Appalachian League season. This year’s squad includes 33 players: 18 pitchers, eight infielders, four outfielders and three catchers. The roster features a mix of rising collegiate talent -- ranging from freshmen to juniors -- plus a few standout high school seniors committed to premier programs.
“We couldn’t be more excited for this talented group of players to dawn the State Liners uniform in 2025,” said General Manager Patrick Ennis. “With Turner and his staff leading the way, I know we will have a competitive team that will provide excitement day in and day out.”
Power 5 programs are well represented on this year’s roster, with Tennessee leading the way with three players. Kansas State and Oklahoma State each contribute two, while other major programs include Missouri, Cincinnati and Dallas Baptist.
The infield is anchored by Elijah Alexander (Oklahoma State), Jackson Brewer (Columbia), Drew Culbertson (Oklahoma State), Jean Carlos Garcia-Chicano (Bethune-Cookman), Chris Patterson (Missouri), Cooper Flemming (Vanderbilt commit), and Central Missouri State's Cole Young and Colin Dobson.
In the outfield, fans can look for production from Prince DeBoskie (Jackson State), Joe DuSell (Cincinnati commit), Jaxon Walker (Tennessee) and Olin Ward (Central Alabama Community College). DuSell is also listed as a two-way player.
Behind the plate, returner Hayden Blair (Walters State Community College) is joined by Brady Gray (Abilene Christian) and Brooks Wright (Tennessee), rounding out a strong catching unit.
On the mound, the Liners feature a deep 18-man pitching staff including Dallas Baptist's Charlie Atkinson and Liam Watt, Cincinnati's Ty Barnett and Michael Fliss, Kansas State's Micah Henson and Miles Smith, Beau Revord (Tennessee), and several other impact arms from programs like New Orleans, Queens University of Charlotte, NJIT and Texas Southern.
The State Liners begin their 2025 campaign June 5 against the Johnson City Doughboys at TVA Credit Union Ballpark. The State Liners and the Doughboys will share the TVA Credit Union field this year due to Bristol’s new ballpark being under construction.
