This past spring, as a Florida State freshman, Taylor appeared in 21 games, making four starts.

Consigli, 20, was named Pitcher of the Week after the right-hander delivered five scoreless innings with nine strikeouts in his June 13 start for Bluefield against Pulaski. Throwing 51 of his 81 pitches for a strike in the outing, the Fonthill, Ontario native scattered two hits and two walks while striking out half of the batters he faced (18). He finished the week tied for first in ERA (0.00) and second in strikeouts.

As a freshman in 2022, Consigli was named MAAC Rookie of the Year and Relief Pitcher of the Year, as well as a Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American.

The Ridge Runners have now had back-to-back Players of the Week after Kerry Hendron-Brown took home Hitter of the Week honors during the season’s opening period.
